Quality Assurance (QA)

The Quality Assurance (QA) system of the Department

The Quality Assurance (QA) system has the task of monitoring the Research, Teaching and Third Mission and Social Impact activities of the Department according to the University Quality policies and the ANVUR guidelines. The group disseminates and monitors the implementation of the good quality practices defined by ANVUR.

The QA group collaborates closely with the University QA Unit of which it is the operational body in the Department, promoting, monitoring and verifying in collaboration with the Department's Planning Commission, the achievement of the objectives it sets itself in the three missions (research, teaching and social impact) through the three-year programmatic plan and the internal distribution of resources.

The QA group is responsible for compiling the Annual Single Form for Departmental Research (SUA-RD) and the Single Departmental Self-Evaluation Form for the Third Mission and Social Impact (SUA-TM/IS).

The QA group monitors, in coordination with the Teaching Committee and the Joint Teacher-Student Commission, the functional indicators for the self-evaluation of teaching and the accreditation of the study courses for which the Department is responsible.

The QA group also works to communicate the results of departmental research to the national and international scientific community and to disseminate the results of departmental research throughout the territory.

The Departmental QA works in coordination with the Department Director, the Board and the Academic Board and regularly reports on its activities to the Department Council.
